Your factory stereo was a "double-DIN or DIN and a half" the size of the unit. His new DIN is a "single" or just the head DIN unit size. If you go, Wal-Mart and find a conversion kit for the year, make and model of your device, you need to be integrated into your new script when it is installed in the factory. They also sell an adapter cable to connect the device to connect to the head is only used to be a connection to the factory for the car, not directly to the son of the factory wiring. This will keep the factory wiring, if the car you want to sell and install the original unit. Good luck.
